Description

A good collection of 20 very nicely labbeled slides not signed but attributable to the swiss optician Conrad von Rappard, fonder of the Mikroskopische Institut in Zürich in 1850 with August Menzel that is why the “Institut” was called “August Menzel and Company”, then quickly “Institut Engell und Comp., frührer Menzel und Comp. in Zürich”.

 

The present incomplete collection is dedicated to marine plants.
