Description

A rare, early and large traveling or botanical magnifying glass (or magnifier) in tinted horn. The original biconvexe lens measures 6,3 cm.

The condition is fine and genuine with only two very small cracks at the original lens and a crack on the top of the magnifier but without lack of horn (see pictures).

The instrument is preserved in its splendid and fully stamped original leather case in the attractrive and fitting magnifier-shape.

Unusual in such condition.
