An very good drawing/mathematical Dutch set, from 1840s’ and bearing the ink signature of the unknown “P. van Heyst” and the date of “1848”.

The present set includes :

-two nice large pairs of dividers in brass and steel, one with removable point.

-A small brass and steel pair of dividers ;

-A fitting part for ink ;

-A fittng part for a pen ;

-A ebony, brass and still ruling-pen ;

-And a double brass pen holder.


In the lid are preserved a square and a round horn protractor.


The set is unsigned by we know that it is Dutch with the contemporary ownership inscription.

All the instruments are of great quality.

The mahogany lined n red velvet case lightly twisted on one corner but in original condition and still solide.
