Description

A good French unsigned Verick’s dissecting microscope, here with its rare wooden traveling case. We can date this example circa 1880/1890.

The dissecting microscope is complete with 3 doublets, its stage glass (which seems glued on the stage), its to stage clips and its two drawers. The microscope is in perfect working order, mechanics and optics.

The Verick’s simple dissection microscope is a fusion between the movement of Raspail’s simple microscope and Nachet’s dissecting microscope with its two large brass for the stage. But Verick developped an original and ingenious house-shaped model.

Because of its general shape, the majority of models are lost there original wooden box. By a great chance, there is preserved in our good example.

We can not that the right drawer have been formely restored and reattached and the little handel changed by one in brass.

Box around 29x16x13,5cm
