The two long sights are very nicely carved with decorative top parts.

On the middle of the rule there is a long scale and two transversal scales.

An alidade consistS of a flat bar fitted with sights hinged at the ends. Here the two retaining screws are missing. On one side, the screw have been replace by a copper later example.

But anyway, a large and very nice example. Fine condition.
