Description

Arare pair of transmitters and receiver  Marconi system. these stations were built in the first 800 for didactic exercises.

The circuit is the classic Marconi of the late 800 when Marconi patented it.

The transmitter  consists of an induction coil, a telegraph key and an oscillator to produce 30 mm sparks connected to an antenna : everything is powered by a battery.

The receiver station is equipped with a coherer detector connected to the antenna, a relay, a morse type telegraph and a electric bell : a commutator allows you to choose between the telegraph and the bell, all powered by a battery.

The antennas can be dismantled in two parts.

The components are in good condition, the coherer filing is not blocked and with a little patience I believe that this station can still work.

I am not an expert in electrical circuits and I do not know if the connections are correct , but all the components are present.

Attention: The two grenet batteryes visible in the photos are not included, I have been kindly lent by a friend to view the correct arrangement of the stations but  I can provide free of dry cells of the same era.

the two stations are signed “Angela Rossi- Milano “, and from the short telephone number we can deduce the dating of the two instruments at the beginning of 1900 .

A VERY EARLY RADIO ERA MUSEUM PIECE !!
