Description

A very rare well illustrated trade card of “Tourneur et Vernisseur” established at Gand, François Dua. We can date the card from the early 1840s’.

The card is splendidly illustrated with several turned pieces : three spectacular “tour de force”, a miror, a twisted candlestick, and two decorative lamps.

François Dua was established “Rue de la Chapelle N°9 près du Hareng-Pec”.

The 13×10 cm tard card was printed in lithography by Defferrez at Gand.

Very rare.
