Description

An extremely rare single draw English monocular from the latter half of the 18C.The single draw works well and the instrument gives a sharp image.It is unsigned.The fittings are all in ivory with no cracks, and the body is painted with floral swags and ribbon in vibrant colours on a dark olive background.The case has been refurbished in a dark olive leather with a silver cartouche to the top of the lid.
