Located on the island city of Alameda on the San Francisco Bay.
My life as a collector began over 30 years ago, when on a whim, I stopped at a yard sale and happened upon an old ship's compass. I was instantly attracted to the brass, glass and mahogany, as well as the engineering involved in its construction. That interest led me to basements, attics, and long hours sitting at auctions in search of Scientific instruments and unusual antiques.
I'm delighted to be included in the Fleaglass site and will try to present ongoing offerings of science, maritime and technical items of interest. Thank you and enjoy...
