NL Bert Kraker Antiques

Kraker Antiek is a small, cozy and open-minded company in Amsterdam. Bert Kraker offers a collection of authentic, original, rare and quality objects.

With over 20 years of experience in the arts and antiques trade, one of my main specialties is antique scientific instruments. I formerly worked in association with Jaap Mennink, from whom I have learned to use all my senses actively in the trade.

I also work as a consultant for several international collectors and auction houses. And I am always interested in purchasing good quality (scientific) items, and evaluations and expertise offers.

Travelling extensively around the globe with a skilled and critical eye, Kraker Antiek offers an eclectic collection of scientific- and nautical instruments, natural history artefacts and collectors items. The collection is found on my website www.krakerantiek.nl and can be seen in my store at De Hallen in Amsterdam.

In order to find suitable objects, intensive desk- and field research is applied. Over the years I have acquired a comprehensive library about scientific instruments to this end. Expert views from colleagues are consulted if necessary to ensure the quality and authenticity of the stock.

Please contact me if you have any questions about any of my items offered on Fleaglass or visit www.krakerantiek.nl for a complete view on the stock.
