Description

A good mahogany cased boxed compass / alidade with brass 95 degree quadrant to the inside lid with indicator, engraved ‘J.H. Steward, 406 Strand, London’. The compass dial arranged in four quadrants of  0 – 90 – 0 – 90 etc, the centrally jewelled needle is locked when the lid is closed. With inset bubble level, cross – bubble and sights. The case measuring 3″ x 3″.
