INTERESTING ENGLISH THEODOLITE SIGNED TROUGHTON & SIMMS LONDON ALSO ENGRAVED B.O. 2997 WITH GOVERNMENT BROAD ARROW MARK, THE MAHOGANY BOX IS STAMPED WITH THE SAME. THE 9.3/4″inch TELESCOPE GIVES AN ERECT IMAGE, THE SILVERED SCALES READS TO I MINUTE OF ARC. EAST & WEST ON THE SILVERED COMPASS BOX ARE TRANSPOSED, THE VERTICLE HALF CIRCLE ALSO HAS A SCALE FOR DIFF OF HYPO &  BASE, NICE UNTOUCHED CONDITION.
