Description

A smaller than normal set of draftsman’s instruments by John Livings c.1830. Trade label in lid, instruments unmarked including ivory rule (small chip to edge). Inking pens, pencils, two pairs of compasses, large pen with turned ivory handle, all matching in an excellent sharkskin case, noting small shrinkage crack to lid. Brass hinge and button make for secure closure. Complete.

John Livings was at 136 Goswell Street, London from 1832-1839.
