Lacquered-Brass Folding Compound Microscope by J. Swift & Son, London, No. 693
Rack-and-pinion coarse focusing, fine focusing thumb wheel on top of pillar, anodized folding brass stage (No. B 16472) with grooved edges for mechanical slide-carrier.
Nickel plated body tube and graduated
slide tube, Baker 5X eyepiece, Zeiss 3 lens

With folding tripod legs the microscope collapses to fit within a leather case (not present)
For spares or repair, all elements present in good working order.

Length folded 6 inches or 155mm

Height set up with the tube vertical and  unextended 8,1/4″ or 210mm
