A graduated, mid-19th-century, French pewter bleeding bowl signed by maker: “CORLIEU PARIS”. Diameter at rim: 6″ (15 cm). Volume: 1/2 litre. A very similar bowl is shown on p. 66 of Bidault and Lepart’s  Etain Medicaux et Pharmaceutiques ( Paris, n.d.).  Evidence of use but overall in very good, untouched, condition.
