Boxwood scale rule dates 1836 and made by S. Cooper, Miller Street, Shudehill, Manchester. Owners name: I Rylands. Comprises scales marked 3-13 on the front side and 14-24 on the other. Condition overall is good noting knot hole replaced at date of manufacture, minor ink staining small crack by 3 and 13 can be seen on both sides and one slight defect in the wood (can send image if required)
