Description

Signed on the first draw in script, ‘Watts, Poole. Day or Night’.

There is no maker recorded with this name in Poole, Dorset so it may well be a retailers name.

By design, certainly circa 1850, maybe a little earlier.

Measuring 16 inches collapsed and 35.5 inches fully drawn with dust sliders to each end, with an objective lens of 1.5 inches. Damage free, no dents or cracks. It gives an excellent, sharp image when viewed.
