Description

Superb miniature lacquered brass theodolite, signed on the silvered dial, ‘Casella, London, 5515’, standing just under 8″ high with 3″ horizontal and vertical silver circles reading to one minute of arc, 6″ telescope giving a good, clear inverted image (cross hairs intact), the 1.75″ compass dial with cardinal points, 360 degree outer markings, sub- divided to one degree, slow screw and tangent adjusters, bubble levels and mounted on three adjustable levelling screws. Superb quality. No case.
