Description

German 1950/60’s working model, Pulse Jet ” Strahltriebwerk” engine. Manufactured by Triebwerk .

Model in used but working condition with some surface corrosion to combustion chamber.

Pulse jets were pioneered in Germany during WW2 and used on the V1 Rocket known as the infamous “doodlebug”. This particular design goes back to Heinkel’s 1939 patent DE767258 C and is 340mm long and 34mm diameter. Has a reputation for being one of the noisiest of engines.
