A very clean monocular brass microscope by Swift & Son, London in very clean condition noting a little rubbing to the enamel around the foot. It racks out to 15.75″ with the draw tube fully drawn. It has a removable ‘J. Swift & Son, London. Pat. No 24345’ mechanical stage, three objectives in brass cans ( 1/6 in, 2/3 in, 1/12 in oil imm ) and two eyepieces ( No 3 x 5.5 and a Baker No 4 with moveable pointer inside). Contained in mahogany case with lock and key.
