Description

SOLD – Most probably French but could be German, lacquered brass Norremburg Polariscope as used for examining crystals, quartz, mica, optical glass in polarized light. With two graduated circles to read the degree of polarization. The large black glass has a hairline fracture to one side. Height 23 cms. Developed by Jules Duboscq of Paris in 1860.
