Description

Circa 1820, small size brass circimferenter, signed on the dial, ‘W. & S. Jones, 30 Holborn, London’. The 3 inch dial with jewelled compass and locking bar arranged in four quadrants in degrees of 0 -90, with outer scale from 0 – 360. The outer, tapered, brass scale is divided from 0 – 360 in increments of single degrees. With four sighting arms, two are removable and two are folding.
