Beautiful sculpture that represents an allegory related to steam trains, but I think it’s a celebration of the mechanical builder of ancient trains. The heavy hammer on his shoulders proves this.

in the other hand he holds an allegory representing a gear and a Watt’s regulator.

Metal sculpture with painted parts produced in France towards the end of the 1800s.

Original condition, beautiful patina of time, base with wormholes.
