Description

Offered for sale is an unusual example of a tilting Gould type microscope, in the original mahogany and velvet lined case. The instrument retains the original lacquer.

Set on a tripod base, this instrument has a rectangular pillar attached to the base by means of a compass joint. The rear pillar is held in place by a box fitting with a pinion. The rack, with all his teeth in perfect condition, is on the inner inside.

The instrument comes with three stacking lenses, livebox, bullseye and three wonderful specimen slides. Images are clear and sharped.

It heights 26 cm and case measures 16.5x12x5.5 cm
