EXTREMELY RARE MINIATURE FLAT FRAME SEXTANT SIGNED MILLER & ADIE EDINBURGH. 4.1/2″inch radius Ca.1810 BRASS SCALE 0 TO 140 DEGREES, DIVIDED IN 30 MINUTE DIVISIONS, VERNIER READING TO I MINUTE OF ARC. ORIGINAL GOLD LACQUER, IVORY HANDLE, THREE COLOURED FILTERS, ONE GREEN & TWO RED, TELESCOPE WITH FILTER CAP, ORIGINAL MAHOGANY SHAPED CASE TOP & BOTTOM WITH CHEVRON STRINGING ( BOOXWOOD & EBONY OFTEN FOUND ON EARLY BAROMETER CASEWORK ) THIS IS THE ONLY EXAMPLE BY THESE MAKERS I’VE EVER SEEN THAT’S INCLUDING CATALOGUES, BOOKS & THE INTERNET.  Contact.  m.jread@btinternet.com
