A late 19th century 'Officer of the Watch' telescope witha leather covered body. Fully extended it measures 25" and is signed on the eye-piece tube 'G. Lee & Son, Portsmouth' and on the collar 'D.H. Leigh, R.N.'.

The company was "By appointment to the Admiralty, Trinity House and the Royal Naval College". The telescope is in good condition with no cracks or scratches to the optics. It comes with a later wooden stand with a mounted copy of their trade card stating it was established in 1847.
