| A nice early example by this highly regarded maker. Signs of light use, and some small surface scratches th the scale, but overall in very good condition. Telescope lenses, mirrors anf filters all in good order. Complete with original leather case. The final photo is if the trademark stamped inside the lid. The "S" in the middle is the right way round, indicating the sextant was made before Francis Barker's death in 1875. diameter of sextant 3 inches (76mm). Ganymede Stock no. 35-3734c. |
