Ganymede Antiques, of Sheffield, England, was established in 1992.  Previously based at the (now closed) Bakewell Antiques Centre, we now  trade on the internet, at the twice yearly International Antique Scientific Instrument Fair in London, and of course, directly with our established clients.

We also own and manage the Fleaglass website in partnership with Apsley Antiques.

The instruments we focus on are summarised by the categories in our Fleaglass Storefront.  With an emphasis on conservation and originality, we seek to buy and sell the best examples and avoid instruments requiring, or having been subjected to, radical renovation and refinishing.  We aim to give an accurate description of the condition of items, noting any significant faults or restoration.

We pack carefully and ship worldwide.  Items can also be picked up from Sheffield, or from the London Antique Instrument Fairs.
