Description

An 18th century mahogany cased Naire type chest microscope by James Long, Cornhill, London.

His working dates for this address are  1781 to 1805

This is just how the microscope has been bought and it needs a little attention to present in in lovely condition, it has some good lacquer on the main tube and is nicely signed and numbered for the lenses . The mahogany case has the original brass handle

It is sold as seen and with the accessories as pictured
