Description

Silver mounted shagreen architect’s case with silver, steel and ivory instruments.

– a double scale ivory protractor (0 to 180 and 180 to 0), and on the back scales for architecture.

– a dividers

– a piquoir (used to make holes in the paper)

– an original-shaped pen (very long nib)

– a second compass with interchangeable accessories (steel point, pencil and ink holder), the accessories forming a knife, / pencil holder

– a knife forming a corkscrew and file

Dimensions: Height 12.5 cm x width 7 cm.

The base of the case signed “Mr Js EVES Westminster 1778” (owner).
