A three draw brass telescope with a mahogany barrel, signed on the first draw, ‘R. Harris. Lambs Conduit St., London’.
It measures 29.75″ ( 75 cm) fully open and 9.25″ ( 23.5 cm ) closed with a main lens of 42 mm diameter.
The barrel is free of cracks, the lenses and tubes free of dents / chips / cracks. The 3 draw tubes pull out very smoothly and give an excellent clear image when viewing. In leather case.
Richard Harris worked between 1790 – 1810 at various addresses in London.
