Description
SOLD – An eight draw brass telescope, signed on the first draw, ‘Crichton, 112 Leadenhall St., London’, with baleen covered barrel. Quite large, measuring 5.75″ closed and 30″ fully open with an objective lens of 1 & 5/8ths diameter. The telescope is held in the original brown tan leather case with shoulder strap and caps to both ends; one end giving access to the telescope and the other end holding a spare eye piece lens ( the scope has both high and low power eye pieces ).
Damage free, no dents, very clear lenses, the draw tubes pulling nice and smoothly.
