Description

The upper stage supported by a movable arm indicating latitudes between 30 and 50 degrees. The upper face is engraved with a graduated hour scale from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. in the evening. In the center, a movable disc with an index in the shape of a fleur-de-lys surmounted by a plate indicating the months of the year with a movable alidade to identify the position of the sun. This side bears the signature “Liborel à Arras” (rare signature described in the Marcelin book).

The unengraved lower plate supports the movable arm and is drilled with a hole.

Supported by 4 small feet.
