Description

A little unusual Dutch clock terrestrial globe signed “Eerste Nederlandsche globe industrie Zwolle Holland / Made in Holland / TL Globe / Model E10”. 

This is a very early production of the Zwolle production.

The globe measures 10cm diameter and 25 cm height. It is made in metal and plastic, circa 1950s’.

The electric mechanism is contained in the sphere with hours, minute, transparent plastic blue meridian ring with gilted stars mounted every 5 minutes, raised on a pillar support and domed by a brass stand incorporating a cube-form planetary cage.

Some small pieces of paper is glued on the globe otherwise, the condition is excellent.

Quite decorative.
