A fine duo of bullseye condensers for SoA/Zeiss IV and Crouch No. 2 microscopes.
The first standing 14 cm. tall (extendable to 24 cm.) has friction fit horizontal motion (with top knot) and a solid brass base (5 cm. dia.) and the second, a DOUBLE articulating 19 cm. (extendable to 29 cm.) with leaded brass base (5 cm. diam.). Both in top cosmetic and optical condition with fine knurling of the brass work. The smaller is typically found in a Society of Arts case or other No. 2 and 3 stands. The larger, slender and more compact (folding), is typically found in a No. 2 Crouch/Ross travelling microscope case (have also seen this type is Staviv IV Zeiss microscope cases). Often robbed out, they can be used for the office desktop as magnifiers or for completion of existing microscope kits. Priced the same and your choice.
