Description

A very nice Benjamin Bell-type small bone saw with a fine-toothed blade and a round ivory handle. We can date it from the late 18th century.

For a very sery similar example but a little later see Bennion, page 21, pl. 7.

The present example preserved its original blade 14 cm lenght, its orignal ivory handle measuring 9,5 cm and its nice frame.

All parts are original.

A little rare in such condition.
