A very fine example of a polarizing/mineralogical microscope signed “R. Winkel Göttingen” and numbered “Nr. 241010”.
The magnfications card is dated from the 13 october 1925.
The instrument is complete and in pristine original condition.
It preserve for sure its two Spath prisms but also its Amici-Bertrand lens, three eyepieces (2, 4 and 3 with micrometer) and 5 objectives (0, 3, 5, 7 and 18mm13) all signed signed “Winkel-Zeiss”.
This microscope is only signed “R. Winkel” but the Zeiss company was the principal shareholder of the R. Winkel company since 1911. This model is certainly one of the last one only signed “Winkel” before the microscopes were signed also “Winkel-Zeiss”.
A really excellent example of the Stative III M of the Winkel-Zeiss production from Gottingen.
Box measures 34,5x23x18 cm.
