Description

A very good example of a box of nickel silver instruments dating from the late 19th century and bearing the signature “Stanley / 3 great Turnestile / London W. C.”

This is a high quality set with all instrument in nickel silver and ivory. The lower case contains also a square protractor in ivory signed Stanley, a wood scale rule signed by Stanley and an ebony and brass unsigned parallel ruler.

Despite a crack, wigthout lack of wood, on the lid of the case, very good original condition.

Box measures 20×16 cm.
