Sliding eye cover for ocular lens and protective dust cover for the 1 1/2″ objective lens. Excellent optics. Signed ” Thos. Millard, 335 Oxford Street, London” . Some minor wear areas around the signature (first draw) and second draw collar area from use. The black baleen is perfect, without losses. Extended length is 23″ ( 58 cm.) and fully closed 7 3/4″ (20 cm.). Exceptional quality instrument in a rare combination of materials.
