The plate of four hour scales for the latitude 43°, 46°, 49° and 52° degrees with central floral decorations.
The folding gnomon, with a bird-shaped index, is for the latitdes from 40° to 60°.
Underside, the names and latitudes of 31 European cities.
The spring of the gnomon is also superbly engraved of geometric decorations with acanthus flower and lily flower.
Underside, there is a sharp Parisian hallmark for the small silver objects.
We can date the dial circa 1700.
