A large example (38 cm lenght for the telescopes) of a double telescope brass graphometer signed “Canivet  à Paris à la sphere” and datable around 1760.

The heavy instrument is superbly and deeply engraved floral paterns and a double scale divided in 0 to 180 and 180 to 0.

The optics of the two telescopes are in in working condition.

The instrument is complete with its balljoint and its small stand.

A rare instrument in its original case. The case is a little worn but without lack.

Size of the case : 41x21x15 cm
