Description

An unusual large bone handle and forged iron early dental tooth key, datable circa 1760-1770. Futhermore, the key is marked with three losanges. We cannot identify this maker who seems not to be French.

The large bone handle is pierced with a central hole. One one side, maybe a part is lacking with the remains of a thread.

The key is fixed with a screw with the small butterfy head and not a flat head screw.

The condition is generally very good.
