An oversized papier-mâché and cardboard model of a microscopic view of a “sezione dorso ventrale di foglia” [of a ventral section of a leaf] by Antonio Vallardi in Milan and datable from the very end of the 19th century.
The very large model measures 28x12cm and is mounted on a wooden panel of 30x25cm.
Small accident on one edge of the model, otherwise good condition and fresh colors. Rare microscopic botany model.
