A long and fine pair of 17th or early 18th century brass and steel dividers in original condition. Likely Dutch or German. Historically used for mathematics or chart reading, these are constructed with a five leaf hinge and hexagonal ball head. They retain a fine patina and open and close perfectly, with very sharp and straight steel points.
