Description

This long, single draw telescope, measures 35.5″ (90 cms) when closed and 42.5″ (107.5 cms) fully drawn, the single draw signed, Berge, London late Ramsden’.

It has a 2″ main lens and gives a good, clear image.

Very good condition but the barrel has two hairline cracks near the back collar.

Mathew Berge was foreman and eventual successor to Jesse Ramsden (1800 – 1819).
