A MID-18th SHAGREEN & VELLUM TELESCOPE

Beautiful hand-held terrestrial telescope made of cardboard tubes covered with green vellum and pink shagreen. Horn mounts. Brass finials and dust covers.

Dimension: closed 10 ½” (27cm); 25 ½” (65cm) open

It gives clear images. The mounts of the 3-lens erector is made of wood.
