Description

A working and genuine example of a horn-mounted miniature spyglass with its original acorn-shaped box in turned boxwood, not signed, France, mid-18th century.

 

The spyglass is built in cardboard, black leather and turned/mounted in horn (some lacks at the fragil horn) but all is original and with no restoration.  The optics work well and are original.

 

A good spyglass with its original little box.
