A nice proportionnal compass or pair of dividers with the unusual “crooked points” (see the last photo showing an extract from the Molteni catalog of 1859) and adjustment by rack and pinion, made in nickel silver and steel.
The instrument is not signed but we can date around 1880. It is kept in its original leather box. It measures 20.3 cm length.
Some traces of oxidation to steel, otherwise very good condition.
