Description

A superb example of a  large compound microscope signed on the main tube “Seibert in Wetzlar”. The microscope has the serial number “11208” so datable circa 1903.

This microscope is the stativ 2, large microscope. 

It is preserved in its original wooden traveling box measuring 39x22x22 cm.

It preserves 3 original Seibert objectives numbered I,

V, and Immersion  and three eyepieces/16, one Leitz objective numbered “8” and three original Seibert eyepieces numbered I, II and III.

The microscope is in perfect working condition, with its substage mirror, its round and rotative stage, one substage condenser with diaphgram and one set of diaphragms.

All is well preserved and in good condition.

An excellent example of large microscope by this famous maker from Wetzlar.

This is an heavy example and the very safe package will weigh more than 10 kilos.
