Description

A very unusual small venetian telescope in horn, cardboard and vellum with a Galilean optical configuration.

The small telescope measures only 15,7×23,5 cm with its two caps.

The optics has only two lens (and not a multiple-lens eyepiece as usual) : one for the eyepiece and one for the objetive, the first biconcave and the second one biconvexe.

The small telescope is in pristine condition, mounted in horn, with its two horn caps preserved.

A rare diminutive Italian form of refracting telescope.
